RKYC Maiden Factor Open Fundraiser Race

The Royal Kennebeccasis Yacht Club is pleased to announce the Inaugural Maiden Factor Open Fundraiser Race. Monday, August 8th, 6-9pm, followed by a reception in the club house where you can meet the crew and hear their story firsthand.

Order of Events:

• 5:30pm – Crew arrive
• 6:00pm – Raffle crew – one member of a boat must be present to meet/direct Maiden crew member.
• 6:15pm
  • Crews to boats
  • Airing of Maiden Documentary – on shore activity at the clubhouse! (Free)
• 6:30pm – Race begins
• 7:30pm – Reception Begins – Hors d'oeuvres, Club announcement, Crew speeches, Meet the crew
• 9:00pm – Maiden crew depart

For Racers:

The race is open to boats from all clubs. Tickets for racing and reception are $20/person. For a chance to have one of the Maiden crew join your boat during the race, tickets are additional $10 each. Moorings and/or dock space may be available upon request.

For Non-Racers:

For on shore spectators, we will be showing the Maiden documentary at 6:15pm. Racing and the documentary can be viewed from the clubhouse. Maiden crew estimated to arrive at approximately 7:30pm, post-race. Spectator boats are welcome.
Fee to attend the reception is $20.
